Peter Mullan, director of the fantastic Magdalene Sisters, presents NED’s (Non-Educated Delinquents). The story begins in 1970’s Glasgow, with a young boy starting high school where he hopes to continue with his glittering and bright academic future. However, with things bad at home and with the popular gang culture that surrounds him, will he prove to himself and his family that he can make something of himself? Or will he too be roped and trapped into the hard and criminal life of gangs?
Fantastic looking, action riddled, historic and with emotion running high, NED’s seems to have all of the elements for a great, unforgettable film. Sure to be another fantastic film by Mullen.
