The Help

Set in 1960's Mississippi, aspiring writer Skeeter (Emma Stone - Zombieland) begins to write a story that may shake the lives of her dear friends and even an entire town. She starts to interview the black women who look after Mississippis southern families, known as 'The Help'. With an extremely strong streak of racism and discrimination, more and more 'Help' women come forward to have their say. This rocks the town as tradition is thrown out the window, and times of change start to move in.
This inspiring and feel-good film tells the story of many courageous women, as they create unlikely friendships to stand up for 'The Help'. Emma Stone looks to play a powerful role which seems to suit her, and with a strong cast behind her, this could be the best film of the year.
